Well I run a fairly Small - Mid-Size company. We have networked Camera Systems at all of our Locations. We also have Low Voltage Systems at all Locations and depend upon our Computer Server for all aspects of our business. Accounts Payables, Account Receivables, Payroll, Company Email Etc…

Our livelihood and the livelihood of our employees depend upon it as well as the safety of our customers and staff.
Well, something happened to our really small company compared to Large Fortune 500 was the least one that we would have ever thought would have been sought out of attacked with Ransomware. These thieves completely brought our systems to a halt Friday night at 8:26pm.
I contacted our now retired server creator who stated “This is NOT good. You need to immediately shut it down, unplug it and take it to a PROFESSIONAL that specializes in Commercial IT”
I had seen Advantech advertisement in the past on Facebook and they were relatively local to me with them being in Byron, GA. I read many, many reviews from so many others in Georgia that have used them for various services. I never seen one bad review. So, I contacted the Owner of Advantech and explained my problem and situation. Without hesitation, he said I and another employee will be on our way to you. Mind you, Advantech is a large company with many employees that specialize in various areas of expertise and the owner could have sent anyone. However he was absolutely willing to come himself. I declined the offer as I too am a business owner and knew that he had already had his day planned and scheduled and that schedule did not include driving 40 minutes one way and to be there for an undermined amount of time. The point is… THAT’S SERVICE
I unhooked my server and workstation and took it to their office which is extremely impressive. I did this for a couple different reasons. One: To see the magnitude of the staff, to speak with several of them and quiz them on their experience and knowledge. Two: I wanted to have my equipment in their location so that they would have complete access to any tools, equipment and knowledge base to provide my company with the best possible outcome. Three: To meet the owner of the company as I am a face to face type person where I like putting a face to a person and obtain an impression of the person and the company that I was trusting with my confidential and sensitive data.
I came away from my meeting with them that they are absolutely TRUSTWORTHY, PROFESSIONAL, KNOWLEDGEABLE and FAIR. They are also extremely understanding and VERY PATIENT. I know that I am not an easy customer to please and I hold people and companies to a very high standard. They have not only met my expectations, they EXCEEDED them. So, much so that they now have all of my companies business from our Computer systems, Camera Systems, Fire Alarm Systems and all of our low voltage systems as well.
The owner did in fact already have his day scheduled as he had meetings that prevented him from returning in the office until 5pm that afternoon. That did not deter him from keeping his word to me. He started working on our system at 5:00pm and I went back to his office to meet him and watch him work. Impressive skills I tell you. Within less than an hour our systems were well on their way to being released from the grip of Thieves from God knows what part of the planet.
The owner made suggestions and recommendations for future development for our company. I did not feel pressured into anything. He merely mentioned what his idea was as too where our Computer Systems stood and solutions for the future. This was not a rainbow vacuum cleaner sales pitch or the experience you get at any car dealership. I felt as though he truly cared and was honestly trying to help as a friend would. I decided to listen and we are well on our way to having a much better and much needed system with more security and piece of mind.
I then received the bill after all the work was completed. Mind you, I never asked What is this going to cost me. Why didn’t I, you may ask? Well a few reasons honestly. I felt that they truly cared and were not the type of people that screw people over as all the reviews all pointed in that direction, after meeting the team members and owner I got the feeling that they are just good people. I am usually a Very Good judge of character and people, which is why before I left I signed a blank check and said fix it. I received a bill which I did not accept. I asked that they add some more money to it as I felt that the amount of work, skill and knowledge warranted more than what we were being charged.
I made a statement to the owner to the effect of something I seen written on a Facebook post. Someone was complaining about the cost of a carpentry project or auto repair I can’t remember exactly the example. The customer was complaining because it only took 30 minutes to do a job and they felt it was too much for such a short amount of time. The person said you aren’t paying me for the 30 minutes it took to fix your problem or project. You are paying me for the 15 years of experience and knowledge, my tools and equipment. Etc.. I reflected on that when I seen the bill and shared my thoughts with the owner. He was very appreciative.
I look forward to a long lasting working relationship with Advantech and can’t recommend them enough to anyone or any company/organization no matter the size whether your annual P&L income is $100.00 or $1 Trillion dollars. I do feel that Advantech will rise to the occasion and at a minimum meet, but most likely exceed your expectations.
No they did NOT pay me for this review and NO I do not expect or anticipate anything for it except a great working relationship for the extended future.

Not to take away from the great leader there but YOU the employees are what makes a company GREAT. However it does take a great leader also and I feel that you all are fortunate to have a leader that can and will provide you all with job security and a growing company that will benefit you all.
